Christine Leclerc lives, works and studies in Burnaby, B.C. / Coast Salish Homelands. She is the author of Counterfeit and Oilywood and the recipient of a bpNichol Chapbook Award. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s MFA in Creative Writing Program, where she taught the university’s first course in writing for new media. She is also proud to have served as Communications Director with a leading health non-profit.

Currently, Leclerc is a student in the Faculty of Environment at Simon Fraser University. She volunteers on the non-profit boards of Sierra Club BC and Embark Sustainability. Interests include human rights, environment, culture and design. On Twitter as @xineleclerc.
